📝 How to Apply

Candidates must apply online through the UPSC Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal at https://upsconline.nic.in/ora/. The application process involves:

1. Account Creation — Register on the portal to generate a Universal Registration Number (URN)
2. Universal Registration — Fill in personal details, upload photo & signature
3. Common Application Form (CAF) — Fill common details, capture live photo, upload documents
4. Post/Vacancy Specific Module — Select the specific post and fill post-specific details

🎯 Eligibility Criteria (General)

Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India, or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee (before 1962), or Person of Indian Origin from specified countries.

Age Limits: Vary by post (see individual post details). Age relaxations apply for SC/ST (5 yrs), OBC (3 yrs), PwBD (10 yrs), Ex-Servicemen (5 yrs), and Central Govt employees (5 yrs).

Educational Qualifications: Vary by post — from 10th pass (Civilian Assistant Inspector) to MBBS + PG Degree (Medical posts) to Master's/PhD (Scientist posts).

• Shortlisting — Based on qualifications, experience, and desirable qualifications
• Recruitment Test (if held) — May be conducted if applications are large in number
• Interview — Worth 100 marks. Minimum qualifying marks: UR-50, OBC-45, SC/ST/PwBD-40
