UPSC CMS Admit Card 2026 – Combined Medical Services Examination

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Admit Card for the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2026. The exam is scheduled for 02 August 2026. Candidates who have applied for this examination can now download their admit card from the UPSC online portal.

Application Fees

Eligibility

• Educational: Passed written and practical parts of final M.B.B.S. Examination from a recognized university
• Age Limit: Not more than 32 years (Railways/NDMC/MCD) or 35 years (CHS) as on 01 August 2026. Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.

Selection Process

1. Part-I: Written Examination (500 Marks)
   • Paper I – General Medicine and Paediatrics: 250 Marks (120 MCQs), Duration: 2 hours
   • Paper II – Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Preventive & Social Medicine: 250 Marks (120 MCQs), Duration: 2 hours
   • Negative Marking: 1/3rd deduction for wrong answer
2. Part-II: Personality Test / Interview (100 Marks)
3. Final Merit: Written Examination + Personality Test = Total 600 Marks

How to Download Admit Card

1. Visit the UPSC online portal: upsconline.nic.in
2. Login with your Registration ID and Password / Date of Birth
3. Click on "Admit Card" link for Combined Medical Services Examination 2026
4. Download and take a printout of the admit card
5. Carry the printed admit card along with a valid photo ID to the exam centre

Important Instructions

• Mobile phones, pagers, electronic devices, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, pen drives, or cameras are strictly prohibited at examination venues
• Mandatory face authentication at examination venue for all candidates
• Reach the exam centre at least 30–60 minutes before the time mentioned on the admit card
• Representation on answer keys can be submitted within 5 days after exam via upsconline.nic.in
