State Bank of India invites online applications from retired officers of SBI for engagement as
Concurrent Auditor on contractual basis.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Only officers retired on superannuation (attaining age 60 years) are eligible
- Officers who voluntarily retired/resigned/suspended/left before superannuation are NOT eligible
- This is a contract engagement, NOT a regular employment
- Existing waitlist of retired officers empanelled as Concurrent Auditors stands cancelled with this advertisement

Eligibility Criteria (as on 14.05.2026):
- Must be retired SBI officer on superannuation (60 years)
- Officers who completed 58 years age AND 30 years service (both conditions) as on VRS application date are eligible on attaining 60 years
- Grades eligible: MMGS-III, SMGS-IV/V & TEGS-VI
- Maximum age for fresh engagement: 63 years as on 14.05.2026
- Good track record and thorough knowledge of Bank systems and procedures
- No punishment/penalty (Censure or higher) in last 5 years of service
- No pending CBI or other law enforcement cases
Engagement Period:
- Minimum: 1 year
- Maximum: 3 years or up to attainment of 65 years age, whichever is earlier
Monthly Remuneration (Fixed):

For Cluster Audit (2+ branches for weekly audit): Rs. 2,000/- per visit/per branch
Selection Process:
- Shortlisting of applications
- Interview by interview committee
- No TA/DA for interview
- Selected candidates kept in a pool (valid for 1 year or till next advertisement)
Leave:
- 30 days leave per year of engagement
- Leave not availed lapses normally (can be encashed if declined on admin grounds)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Verifying loan documents and ensuring compliance of sanction and follow-up processes
- Verifying deposit accounts and related instructions
- Verifying remittances, bill transactions, foreign exchange, cash transactions
- Other areas as decided by Internal Audit department
