Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya (CNBC), an Autonomous Institute under Govt. of NCT of Delhi, affiliated to GGSIP University, Geeta Colony, Delhi, invites applications for filling up the following posts of Teaching Faculty — Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor.

This is an Addendum to the previous Recruitment Notice dated 30.05.2026.

Note: BL = Back Log. Reservation for DIVYANG (PWD) candidates shall be as per rules on horizontal basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Professor (Paediatrics)

• Qualification: MD (Paediatrics) or equivalent recognized degree
• Experience: 14 years of teaching/research experience after MD
• Age Limit: Up to 66 years

Associate Professor (Paediatrics)

• Qualification: MD (Paediatrics) or equivalent recognized degree
• Experience: 6 years of teaching/research experience after MD
• Age Limit: Up to 55 years

Assistant Professor (Various Specialties)

• Qualification: MD/MS in concerned specialty or equivalent recognized degree
• Experience: 3 years of teaching/research experience after MD
• Age Limit: Up to 50 years

Assistant Professor (Ped. Surgery)

• Qualification: M.Ch. in Pediatric Surgery or equivalent
• Experience: 1 year (or none for 3-year/6-year M.Ch. course holders)
• Age Limit: Up to 50 years

Application Fee

Fee payable via Demand Draft in favour of "Director, CNBC" payable at Delhi/New Delhi.

Remuneration (Per Month, Consolidated)

Note: For retired Government employees, remuneration after deduction of Pension + DA. Includes PF & Gratuity benefits.

Terms & Conditions

• Appointment on contract basis for 05 years (renewable based on annual performance up to superannuation)
• Notice period: 3 months from either side
• No TA/DA for interview
• Jurisdiction: Delhi only
• Hospital reserves right to alter number of posts or withdraw process
• Selected candidates must be registered with DMC after selection
• For retired govt employees, remuneration = consolidated amount minus (Pension + DA)
