A walk-in-interview for the appointment/selection for 04 posts of Senior Resident on emergent and purely Adhoc basis will be held on 30/07/2026 at the room of Medical Superintendent at 11:00 AM.

However, the number of posts indicated is provisional and subject to change without any notice.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria for SRs

1. MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma or any other equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC).
2. Registered with Delhi Medical Council (only qualification incorporated in DMC will be considered) and have not completed three years Senior Residency.

Age Limit

Not more than 45 years for SRs (05 years relaxation for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC) as on date of interview.

Emoluments / Salary

Pay Matrix Level 11 (Rs. 67,700 - 2,08,700) plus other usual allowances as admissible under the rules.

Terms & Conditions

• Appointment initially for 89 days or till regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier
• If reserved candidates not available, posts earmarked to them shall be filled from General/UR on adhoc basis for 44 days
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview
• Only OBC (Delhi) candidates with valid non-creamy layer certificate will be given OBC reservation benefit
• Selected candidates must join within 07 days of offer letter
• Appointment subject to medical fitness & verification of certificates
• Candidates to bring all original certificates with attested photocopies + 5 passport size photos
• Decision of Selection Board/Medical Superintendent shall be final and binding
• Jurisdiction of disputes: Delhi / New Delhi only
