DIC Junior Software Developer Recruitment 2026 – Academic Bank of Credits Project

Digital India Corporation (DIC), set up by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, invites applications for the post of Junior Software Developer for the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) project on a purely Contract/Consolidated basis. Vacancy Details

Place of Posting: Noida or New Delhi (transferable to project locations of DIC as per policy).

Role Overview

Work on large-scale Digital Public Infrastructure systems, including secure academic credential platforms. Contribute to backend development, cloud-based data processing, secure system design, and high-volume data handling, ensuring reliability, performance, and security of mission-critical systems.

Education

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimize backend services and REST APIs
• Work with MongoDB for large-scale data storage, aggregation and performance tuning
• Design and manage data pipelines for data migration and processing (MongoDB to AWS Redshift)
• Implement and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, Glue, Redshift and CloudWatch
• Develop and maintain secure workflows using AWS KMS for encryption and decryption
• Design and operate secure execution environments using AWS Nitro Enclaves
• Work with RabbitMQ or similar systems for asynchronous task processing
• Manage Dockerized applications and multi-container environments
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs, monitor system performance, resolve bottlenecks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system enhancements and deployments

Required Skills & Competencies

• Technical: Strong knowledge of Python; working knowledge of PHP (preferred); MongoDB (aggregation, indexing, optimization); AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Glue, Redshift, CloudWatch, KMS); AWS Nitro Enclaves or confidential computing; Docker; RabbitMQ; data pipelines/ETL; basic Linux
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, good communication and documentation skills, ownership mindset

Preferred Experience

• Cloud-based or distributed systems, secure system design and encryption workflows
• Large-scale data processing systems, CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to government or public sector projects (preferred but not mandatory)

Consolidated Remuneration

Commensurate with qualifications and experience within the approved project norms.
