Applications are invited from eligible and qualified candidates for the position of Research Assistant under the ICSSR-sponsored research project titled "Transformation Through Streaming: An Impact Study of OTT Content on Gender Values and Family Structures among the Indian Youth" being undertaken at IIMC, New Delhi.

Post Details

Essential Qualification

• Postgraduate in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks
• NET or M.Phil./Ph.D. in the relevant discipline

Desirable Skills

• Research experience in media, sociology, gender studies, communication, or allied social science disciplines
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative research, survey design, data collection, content analysis, report writing
• Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, R, or similar tools

Nature of Work

• Literature review and research design
• Data collection and fieldwork
• Survey administration and interviews
• Data analysis and interpretation
• Preparation of project reports, papers, and presentations
• Coordination of project-related activities
