UP Anganwadi Worker & Helper Bharti 2026 – Ghaziabad District

Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), District Programme Office, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh has issued a public notice for direct recruitment against vacant honorarium-based posts of 167 Anganwadi Worker (आंगनबाड़ी कार्यकत्री) and 341 Anganwadi Sahayika / Helper (आंगनबाड़ी सहायिका) – total 508 posts – in the Child Development Projects (Bal Vikas Parojanas) running in urban and rural areas of Ghaziabad district, as per Government Order No. 4/4092245/2025/3343/58-2025 (97687) dated 17.09.2025. Only female candidates are eligible to apply, and only online applications will be accepted.

Total Vacancies: 508. Gram Sabha-wise / Ward-wise vacancy and reservation details are available on the notice boards of the Collectorate, Vikas Bhawan, Tehsil, District Programme Office (Bal Vikas), project offices and Development Block offices, and are also uploaded on the departmental portal upanganwadibharti.in.

Eligibility Criteria

• Gender: Only female candidates are eligible.
• Education: Minimum qualification Intermediate (12th Pass) or equivalent; maximum up to Post Graduate. Merit will be prepared based on educational qualification.
• Age Limit: 18 to 35 years, calculated from the cut-off date 04.07.2026.
• Residence: The applicant must be a permanent resident of the Ward (urban area)/Gram Sabha of the vacant post; if no eligible candidate of the category is available in that Gram Sabha, she must be a permanent resident of the concerned Nyay Panchayat.

Selection Process

1. Selection is completely merit-based conducted online through the departmental portal.
2. No written exam or interview will be held.
3. Merit based on educational qualification; preference as per reservation and government orders.
4. If no eligible candidate in any category in a Gram Sabha, selection will be made from the concerned Nyay Panchayat category-wise.
