Union Bank of India Apprentice Result 2026

The Union Bank of India has declared the result for the engagement of Apprentice under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The exam was conducted on 07 June 2026 and the result was released on 25 July 2026. A total of 1,865 candidates have been provisionally selected for apprenticeship across various states and union territories.

Eligibility

• Educational: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Result declared on or before 01.04.2026. Date of passing not prior to 01.04.2022.
• Age Limit: 20 to 28 years as on 01 April 2026. Age relaxation: SC/ST - 5 years; OBC (Non-creamy layer) - 3 years; PwBD (UR/EWS) - 10 years; Widows/Divorced Women - up to 35 years (General/EWS).
• Language: Must be proficient in at least one local language of the state applied for.

Selection Process

1. Online Test (Objective) — 60 minutes, 100 marks, no negative marking
   • General/Financial Awareness: 20 questions
   • General English: 20 questions
   • Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude: 20 questions
   • Computer or Subject Knowledge: 20 questions
   • Union Bank of India Products & Services: 20 questions

4. Medical Fitness Certificate

Important Notes

• This is NOT regular employment — it is on-the-job training under the Apprentices Act, 1961
• Duration: 1 year from the date of contract
• Bank has no obligation to offer regular employment after completion of apprenticeship
• Candidates who have previously undergone apprenticeship or have 1+ year job experience are NOT eligible
• No PF, ESI, or Bonus applicable to apprentices
