Selection Process

1. Stage 1 — Preliminary/Screening Test (if applicable): MCQ-based, 50 marks, 60 minutes. General English (20), Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude (20), General Awareness (10). Min qualifying: 40% (20 marks). Conducted only if applicants are high in number. Not counted in final merit.
2. Stage 2 — Written Test: MCQ-based, 100 marks, 90 minutes. General English (30), Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude (30), General Awareness (20), General Hindi (10), Computer Awareness (10). Min qualifying: 40% (40 marks). Negative marking: -0.25 per wrong answer.
3. Stage 3 — Computer Proficiency Test: 50 marks, 30 minutes. Word Processing (20), Spread Sheets (20), Internet Proficiency (10). Min qualifying: 40% (20 marks). Qualifying in nature.
4. Stage 4 — Interview: 10 marks. Min qualifying: 30% (3 marks). Mandatory to appear.
5. Final Merit List: Prepared on marks secured in Written Test + Interview combined.

Arrah, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Purnea (Bihar). Candidates must choose 3 cities in order of preference.
