Place of Posting: Field Headquarters (FHQ), Oil India Limited, Duliajan, Assam (may require work at other locations as per Company requirement/policy)
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Skill set should include experience to carry out fishing jobs like Retrieval of Stuck Packers, Retrieval of Bridge Plugs, Recovery of Stuck Packer with Tubing String, Casing Repair, Milling Operations, Recovery of Wireline Tools, Wash Over Jobs, etc. in cased hole sections/liners of size(s) 4 1/2" to 9 5/8" using workover rigs of capacity 550-1000 HP (without top drive system & drilling mud mixing system with agitators)
- Should have experience in providing technical specifications of suitable fishing tools for the above jobs from procurement perspective
- Experience of designing/fabricating fishing tools for unconventional fishing jobs will be preferred
- Other allied jobs as assigned by concerned Reporting Officer/HoD

Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Graduate/Diploma Holder (any discipline) as Full-time Regular course from Institutes/Colleges/Universities/Deemed Universities duly recognized by AICTE/UGC
- Minimum 25 years of working experience in upstream oil and gas sector in any Govt./PSU/Private Sector on permanent basis, out of which minimum 10 years of experience in Well Services/Workover rigs including minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in Cased Hole/Well Services Fishing
- Must have retired at least from the post of Deputy General Manager (Grade F) or equivalent post from OIL or from any other Govt./PSU/Private sector
- Applicant must not be more than 63 years as on the last date of receipt of application
- Working knowledge of the Company's activities, visions, goals and structure
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary activities
- Should be physically fit and willing to travel frequently within OIL operational areas
Contract Period: 06 (six) months, extendable by 03 (three) tenures of 06 (six) months each up to a maximum period of 02 (two) years depending upon the requirement of the Company, performance of the individual, fitness, conduct, etc.
Honorarium and Facilities:
- Monthly Honorarium: Rs. 1,50,000/- (lump-sum, inclusive of local conveyance, telephone landline/mobile, internet expenses, etc.)
- Travel/Boarding and Lodging/Local conveyance during all official tours outside the place of posting as per equivalent Grade of selection as Consultant
- Lump-sum Daily Allowance of Rs. 1,800/- per day during domestic official tour
- 10 days paid leave for every 06 months on pro-rata basis (non-cumulative and non-encashable)
- Normal Company holidays of OIL applicable
- Applicable GST, if any, extra and borne by the Company; other taxes borne by individual
- Income tax, as applicable, will be deducted
- Consultant not allowed to take up assignment with any other Organization/Institution/Govt. agencies during engagement
Selection Procedure: Selection will be based on personal interaction with a Selection Committee.
No TA/DA will be paid. No reimbursement for joining. Accommodation must be arranged by the selected candidate.
