Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) invites applications for engagement of individual Consultant (Engineering) at Level II & Level III on contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Graduate Degree in Engineering, or
• MBA in Marketing/Materials Management, or
• Master's degree in Science / Economics / Operations Research, or
• Equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Institution

Experience Areas

Candidates should have experience in the following areas:

1. Techno-economic project appraisal/evaluation/choice of project involving large investments in oil and gas pipelines, storage capacities, marketing infrastructure/city gas distribution, etc.; or
2. Policy formulation in the Govt in marketing and distribution of petroleum products/natural gas; or
3. Development/formulation of regulations or familiarity with latest technological developments in the oil and gas sector; or
4. Setting up of city gas distribution network, its operation and maintenance; or
5. Operation and maintenance of oil and gas pipelines; or
6. Fostering consumer interest in infrastructure; or
7. Drafting of technical standards/safety codes pertaining to oil and gas pipelines & installations

Desirable

• Previous exposure to Competition Law

Age Limit

Below 62 years as on the closing date of submission of application. The Board may, at its discretion, relax the age limit.

Tenure

• Initial period of one year, extendable by another two years (one year at a time) at the discretion of PNGRB.
• Probation period of six (06) months.
• Annual increment of 10% upon successful completion of each year.

Terms & Conditions

• Leave: 1.5 days per completed month (max 5 days at a time).
• Confidentiality: Strict confidentiality must be maintained.
• Medical: Medical fitness certificate required before joining.
• No Permanent Employment: Purely contractual, no claim to permanent employment.
• Notice Period: One month's prior notice in writing for discontinuation.
