Mathematics (40%): Number system, squares/cubes, set theory, matrices, permutations & combinations, statistics, HCF/LCM, algebra, linear/quadratic equations, coordinate geometry, geometry theorems, polygons, triangles, quadrilaterals, circles, surface areas & volumes.
Modern Methods of Surveying (20%): Photogrammetry, satellite imagery, drone/UAV imagery, remote sensing, GPS, GIS, DGPS, GNSS, RTK surveying, Karnataka State CORS Network.
Computer Applications (20%): MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD (DXF file operations for cadastral data), GIS software, SDLC, web/mobile app development, APIs.
Physics (10%): Magnetism, electricity, electromagnetic radiation, electronics, dynamics, heat, light, sound, gravitation.
Geography (10%): The Earth, lithosphere, maps, physical features of India.
