Vacancy Summary

Total 750 vacancies distributed across all states/UTs of India. Major allocations include:

Reservation: SC-176, ST-63, OBC-247, EWS-32, GEN-232. Includes backlog vacancies.

Stipend

Stipend includes GOI subsidy of Rs. 6,150/month (credited via DBT). Apprentices are NOT eligible for any other allowances/benefits.

Eligibility

• Age (as on 01.07.2026): 20–28 years (General). Relaxation: SC/ST — 5 yrs, OBC — 3 yrs, PwBD — 10 yrs
• Qualification: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a UGC-recognized University. Result declared on or before 31.07.2026. For NATS candidates, result must be declared between 01.03.2022 and 31.07.2026.
• Proficiency in local language of the state applied for (reading, writing, speaking, understanding)
• Candidate should NOT have undergone Apprenticeship earlier in any organization
• Candidate with training/job experience of 1 year or more after graduation is NOT eligible

Selection Process

• Online Written Exam (Objective, 100 marks, 90 mins): General/Financial Awareness (25), General English (25), Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude (25), Computer/Subject Knowledge (25)
• Test of Local Language — conducted during document verification. Candidates with 10th/12th mark sheet showing the local language are exempted
• Document Verification & Personal Interaction
• Minimum qualifying marks as decided by the Bank (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD)
• Waitlist maintained for 1 year

How to Apply

1. First register on NATS (nats.education.gov.in) or NAPS (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) portal
2. Visit BFSI SSC BEEP Portal and apply for "IOB Apprenticeship Program FY 2026-27"
3. Fill online application form, providing NATS/NAPS Enrolment Number
4. Pay application fee online (07–22 July 2026)
5. Submit and take printout for future reference

Important: Apply for ONLY ONE state/UT (preferably home state). Candidates registered under NAPS should be less than 34 years as on cut-off date.
