Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) invites applications from Indian nationals for project-based contractual positions under the Industrial Research & Development (IRD) Unit. The positions are for a project focused on assistive solutions for persons with visual impairment.
Qualification: First-class B.Tech or B.E in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering. Strong Python skills. Experience in mobile application development. Experience in development of embedded systems with Arduino and Raspberry Pi. Experience in interfacing various sensors with Arduino.
Salary: Rs.35,000/- p.m. plus HRA @27%
Qualification: First class M.Des or equivalent in the appropriate discipline OR First class B.Des with 3 years of experience. Hands-on experience in the design and development of Assistive Solutions for persons with visual impairment. Strong skills in CAD modelling, 3D printing and prototyping techniques. Experience in design and execution of user studies. Open to travel to multiple locations for user trials.
Salary: Rs.75,000 - 82,500 - 90,750 - 99,825 - 1,09,807/- p.m. (Consolidated)
Qualification: 12th class (10+2) passed & Minimum six months of work experience in a Research Institution or Government/Autonomous Higher Education Institution. Experience in computer applications installation, OS installation and overall maintenance. Experience in use of mobile applications for persons with visual impairment. Experience in using high-speed scanners and OCR tools.
