Desirable Qualification (YP-I):1. Knowledge/experience in tribal or rural development, agricultural extension/economics, and farm mechanization.
2. Experience in establishing or managing Custom Hiring Centres (CHCs) or similar agricultural projects.
3. Work with community mobilization, farmer groups, field surveys, and capacity-building programmes.
4. Knowledge of cropping systems and farm machinery operation and maintenance.
5. Proficiency in MS Office, data management, documentation, and report writing.
6. Good communication skills in Tamil and English with willingness to undertake field visits in tribal areas.
Desirable Qualification (YP-II):1. Willingness to stay in tribal villages for short periods, as required, or be posted in tribal areas to undertake extensive field visits, conduct community awareness programmes and rural surveys, and support the implementation of farm mechanization interventions.
2. Good communication skills with proficiency in typing, editing, report writing, preparation of IEC/outreach materials, press notes, and articles in the local language.
3. Proficiency in MS Office, data management, documentation, report writing, data collection, and record keeping.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per rules).
Selection Process: Written Test followed by Interview on the same day. Only the top five candidates, in the order of merit in the Written Test, for each vacancy will be shortlisted for the Interview.
Terms & Conditions:1. Personal information to be submitted in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) along with all essential documents/certificates during walk-in interview. Incomplete documents will not be entertained.
2. Position is purely temporary, time-bound and co-terminus, subject to satisfactory performance.
3. Selected candidates shall have no claim for regular appointment/absorption at ICAR/CIAE at any point of time.
4. Place of work: ICAR-CIAE Regional Station, Coimbatore.
5. No TA/DA and no official accommodation will be provided for appearing for the interview.
6. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to cancellation of candidature or termination even after selection.
7. Candidates requested to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview for necessary formalities.
8. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Employer/University required in case of employment elsewhere.
9. All Original certificates to be produced by the candidate at the time of interview.
10. The decision of the Director, ICAR-CIAE, Bhopal shall be final and binding in all respects.
