CSIR-Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology (IGIB), a premier national laboratory under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, has announced recruitment for Technician (1) / Gr. II posts under Advertisement No. 01/2026.
Total Positions: 15 (Technician Gr. II)
Permanent Group C posts at CSIR-IGIB, New Delhi across two trades:
1. T-01: Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) - 7 Posts
UR-03, OBC(NCL)-02, SC-01, ST-01
2. T-02: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) - 8 Posts
UR-04, EWS-01, OBC(NCL)-02, SC-01
Essential Qualification (any one):
A. SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science subject (minimum 55% marks) AND ITI Certificate or National/State Trade Certificate in the relevant trade (COPA / Health, Safety & Environment)
OR
B. SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science subject (minimum 55% marks) AND 2 years full-time apprenticeship training in the relevant trade from a recognized institution
OR
C. SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science subject (minimum 55% marks) AND 3 years work experience in the relevant trade in a Ministry/Department/Organisation/PSU/Autonomous Body under Govt of India/State/UT
Age Limit: 18 to 28 years as on 04-07-2026 (born between 05-07-1998 and 04-07-2008). Age relaxation as per Govt of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen.
Pay Scale: Level-2 (Rs.19,900 - Rs.63,200) ??? Approximate monthly emolument ~Rs.39,970 with HRA
