In addition to entry pay, allowances will be admissible under Central Government Rules.
Educational Qualification
- DR/01 Scientific Assistant/C (Psychologist): Graduation in Psychology with minimum 60% marks PLUS Post Graduation in Applied Psychology/Psychology with specialization in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology with minimum 50% marks. Minimum one year Hospital/Clinical experience after acquiring PG degree will be given preference.
- DR/02 Scientific Assistant/B (Pathology): B.Sc with minimum 60% marks followed by post graduate Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) with minimum 60% marks OR B.Sc (Medical Lab Technology) with minimum 60% marks.
- DR/03 Scientific Assistant/B (Radiography): B.Sc (Radiography) with minimum 60% marks OR B.Sc with minimum 50% marks + one year Diploma in Radiography.
- DR/04 Scientific Assistant/B (Nuclear Medicine Technologist): B.Sc with minimum 60% marks + DMRIT/DNMT/DFIT with minimum 50% marks OR B.Sc (NMT) with minimum 60% marks.
Age Limit (as on 18.08.2026)
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 30 years
- Relaxable for departmental candidates (3+ years service), 1984 Riot victims family, widows/divorced women, meritorious sportspersons as per Government of India orders

- Fee exempted for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Women category
- Fee not paid on or before the last date will be treated as incomplete application and rejected
Selection Method
- Selection on the basis of performance in personal interview
- In case of more response, BARC reserves the right to conduct a screening test in respective disciplines to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview
- Candidates can answer written test/interview in Hindi or English
