Indian Air Force Agniveervayu (Musician) Intake 01/2027

Indian Air Force invites unmarried Indian Male and Female candidates from all districts of all States and Union Territories of India to join the IAF as Agniveervayu (Musician). The recruitment test will be held at New Delhi and Bengaluru.

Salary (Agniveer Package):
- 1st Year: Rs. 30,000/month (In-hand: Rs. 21,000)
- 2nd Year: Rs. 33,000/month (In-hand: Rs. 23,100)
- 3rd Year: Rs. 36,500/month (In-hand: Rs. 25,550)
- 4th Year: Rs. 40,000/month (In-hand: Rs. 28,000)
- Seva Nidhi Package after 4 years: Approx Rs. 10.04 Lakh
- Non-contributory Life Insurance: Rs. 48 Lakh
- Risk & Hardship allowances, Ration, Clothing, Accommodation, LTC as per rules

Qualification:
- Passed Matriculation/10th or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any Central, State or UT Govt recognised School/Board
- Proficiency in music with ability to play at least one instrument from prescribed list
- Musical Experience Certificate: Grade 5th or equivalent OR Diploma in Music OR Certificate of participation/awards

Age Limit: Born between 01 Jan 2005 and 01 Jul 2009 (both dates inclusive). Upper age at enrolment: 22 years.

Physical Standards:
- Male Height: Min 162 cms | Female Height: Min 152 cms (147 cms for NE/Hilly regions)
- PFT: 1.6 Km run (Male: 7 min, Female: 8 min), Push-ups/Sit-ups/Squats

Application Fee: Rs. 100 + 18% GST (non-refundable)

Selection Process:
1. Physical Fitness Test (PFT) I & II
2. English Written Test (30 mins, 30 questions, Matric level, no negative marking)
3. Music Proficiency Test (playing musical instruments)
4. Medical Examination
5. Provisional Select List
