Educational Qualification (in First Class)
Candidates fulfilling any of the following qualifications (in First Class) may apply:
- B.E/B.Tech with a Valid GATE Score
- M.E/M.Tech from IIT/NIT
- B.Sc + M.Sc with a valid GATE/NET Score
- B.E/B.Tech with M.E/M.Tech
- B.E/B.Tech with 2 years relevant Experience
- B.Sc + M.Sc with 2 years relevant experience
- B.E/B.Tech
Note: Part time experience / Apprenticeship training / Period of training / Teaching Experience / experience as trainee will not be considered for calculation of number of years of experience.
Selection Method
- Interview only: For candidates with valid GATE/NET score, or M.E/M.Tech from IIT/NIT, or with M.E/M.Tech / 2 years relevant experience.
- Shortlisting by Written Test followed by Interview: For candidates with B.E/B.Tech only.
- Written Exam will have same syllabus as that for GATE and shall have negative marking for wrong answers. Candidates are advised to bring Scientific calculator for the written test.
Date & Venue
- The written test and Interview shall be conducted in Bangalore.
- Tentative dates for written test: 16th August 2026, 23rd August 2026 or 30th August 2026.
- Based on the number of registered candidates, the dates for written test and Interviews shall be published on the ADA website.
Age Limit
28 years (age relaxation allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) as per rules).
Stipend
- Candidates having only B.E/B.Tech (First Class): Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA as per rules.
- All other candidates: Rs. 37,000/- per month plus HRA as per rules.
Tenure
Initially for a period of two years, which may be extended for a further two years period (one year at a time) subject to satisfactory performance after assessment by the Review Committee.
General Conditions & Instructions
- Only Indian Nationals can apply.
- The engagement of Project Assistants will be on tenure basis and will confer no rights for continuation beyond tenure / absorption / regularization in ADA.
- ADA reserves the right to operate the panel in a flexible manner between different disciplines for the vacancies available and future anticipated vacancies based on ADA’s requirements for a period of six months.
- The date for determining qualification and age shall be the closing date of registration i.e. 13th August 2026.
- Candidates are required to produce the duly filled application form (as per the format provided) along with attested copies of certificates/supporting documents w.r.t qualification, experience and caste at the time of Interview. Affix a recent passport size photograph on the right top corner of the first page of the application. If documents are in a language other than English, attach a duly self attested English transcript.
- Candidates presently employed in Government departments/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies should produce No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of interview.
- Candidates should bring Aadhar Card in original.
- Electronic items like Mobile Phone / Pen Drive / smart watch etc. are strictly prohibited inside the ADA campus/venue for written test.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the Interview/written test.
- Misrepresentation or falsification of facts detected at any stage shall result in cancellation of candidature without notice.
- Only registered candidates will be permitted to appear for written test / Interview. Registration is not application; it is necessary to plan the logistics.
How to Apply
- Register online on https://ada.gov.in up to 13th August 2026, 17:00 hrs.
- After registration, report for Interview / written test along with the duly filled application form and originals and self-attested copies of certificates/supporting documents as per the details in the advertisement.
