AAI NER Apprentice Recruitment 2026

The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Headquarters (North Eastern Region), Guwahati has invited applications for engagement of Graduate, Diploma and ITI Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2026-27. Eligible candidates domiciled in the North Eastern Region can apply online through the NATS/NAPS portals.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Graduate Apprentice: Full-time 4-year B.E./B.Tech degree in relevant discipline (AICTE recognized), passed in 2024 or later
• Diploma Apprentice: Full-time 3-year Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline (AICTE recognized), passed in 2024 or later
• ITI Trade Apprentice: ITI NCVT certificate in Fitter / Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) / Electrician trade, passed in 2024 or later

Age Limit (as on 28 July 2026)

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 26 years
• Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Government of India guidelines

Domicile

Only candidates domiciled in the North Eastern Region (Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh) are eligible.

Stipend

Selection Process

Merit-based selection (no written exam). Candidates will be shortlisted based on marks in qualifying examination.

2. ITI Trade: Register on NAPS Portal (apprenticeshipindia.org)
3. Search for establishment: "Airports Authority of India – RHQ NER, Guwahati"
4. Select the relevant apprenticeship discipline
5. Complete application form and upload required documents
6. Submit before 28 July 2026
