Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer (Mech.) (Dy.HOD)

Chennai Port Authority invites applications for filling up the post of Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer (Mech.) (Dy.HOD) in M&EE Department on Composite Method (Deputation/Absorption).

Pay Scale

• Current: Rs. 80,000 – Rs. 2,20,000 (Level-13)
• Pre-revised: Rs. 32,900 – 58,000 / Rs. 16,000 – 20,800

Eligibility

• Officers of Major Port Authorities who possess the prescribed qualifications and experience as per the Recruitment Rules (Annexure-1)
• Overall grading in ACRs/APARs for the last 5 years must not be below "Very Good"
• Must be clear from vigilance angle

1. Apply through the Online Application Portal (OAP) of Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways at onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in
2. Send print-out of online application through proper channel with following documents:

• Copies of educational qualifications and experience
• Self-attested passport size photo
• ACRs/APARs for last 5 years (attested by officer not below rank of Dy.HOD)
• Willingness of candidate for joining in case of selection
• No Objection Certificate from respective Port
• Vigilance/Administrative Clearance (Annexure-2)
• Service details in prescribed format (Annexure-4)

Important Notes

• Officers who withdraw candidature after selection will be liable for debarment for 2 years
• Selected officers must be relieved within 30 days of appointment
• Crucial date for eligibility is the last date of receipt of applications
