Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an autonomous society under Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India, invites online applications for the post of Junior Hindi Translator on direct recruitment basis.

Eligibility

• Master's degree in Hindi with English as compulsory/elective subject or medium of examination at degree level
• OR Master's degree in English with Hindi as compulsory/elective subject or medium of examination at degree level
• OR Master's degree in any subject with Hindi medium and English as compulsory/elective subject at degree level
• OR Master's degree in any subject with English medium and Hindi as compulsory/elective subject at degree level
• OR Master's degree in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects or either as medium at degree level
• AND: Diploma/Certificate in translation (Hindi-English) OR 2 years translation experience in Central/State Govt

Application Fee

Selection Process

• Paper-I: Objective (General Hindi 100 marks + General English 100 marks) — 2 hours
• Paper-II: Descriptive (Translation & Essay) — 200 marks — 2 hours
• Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer in Paper-I
• Min qualifying: UR 50%, OBC 45%, SC 40%
• Final merit: 50% Paper-I + 100% Paper-II

• OBC candidates must have valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate
• Age relaxation for Govt servants up to 5 years
